Online Repair Manuals—
Usage Notes and Legal Notices

..

1) To be able to view the illustrations onscreen, your computer's video system must be capable of showing at least 640 x 480 pixels and 256 colors simultaneously. You should also have Netscape version 2 or better or Microsoft Internet Explorer. Some browsers,  notably America Online's, have problems showing the illustrations properly. To see if your browser will work properly, try viewing our demo pages.

Also, though it is certainly not required, you should have a laser, inkjet or other high-quality printer. You will probably want to print some of the illustrations and instructions and and carry them to the worksite to work with. A dot-matrix or other low-quality printer may not print usable illustrations.

2) Our service manuals are intended for use by people who have a bit of mechanical experience or aptitude, and just need a little coaching when it comes to appliances. If you don't fit that category, don't use our service manuals! We're all bloomin' lawyers these days, y'know? If you break something or hurt yourself, no one is responsible but YOU; not the author, the publisher, the guy or the company who sold you our manual, or anyone else. Only YOU are responsible, and just by using our manual, you're agreeing to that and more. Read and understand the disclaimers below before ordering our manuals. If you don't understand the disclaimers, get a lawyer to interpret them to you  before you order.

3) In our service manuals, we explain diagnosis and repair procedures for the most common problems with most appliances and brands commonly available in the United States. (excluding microwave ovens and  front-loading clothes washing machines; see the FAQ's.) In our experience, this is far in excess of 90 percent of the machine malfunctions our customers encounter. However, though we do our best to help you, we cannot guarantee that any one person will be able to diagnose and repair any one machine. In some of these cases, you will be able to diagnose the problem but decide it is not worth repairing. In other cases, you will be able to diagnose the problem, but for varying reasons, we will recommend calling a professional appliance service technician to make the repair. In a few exceedingly rare cases, you will not be able to either diagnose or repair the appliance malfunction. Though we will do our dog-gone best to help you, we make no warranty that you will be able to either diagnose the problem with, or repair your appliance.

4) Upon ordering, you are entering into an agreement. You agree to pay us some money; we agree to provide you with access, via the internet, to the appliance service manual you select for 30 days from the date of "delivery," and also to send you a printed copy of the manual(s) you choose via US Mail. "Delivery" of the online manual occurs when you choose a username and access password at the time of purchase. Should immediate delivery not occur due to technical malfunction, web congestion or other technical problems, EB Publishing Inc. will credit the account charged for purchase as soon as possible, the time period not to exceed fourteen (14) days.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL! Because of the informational nature of our products, and the uncertain nature of appliance repairs in general, we have a "no refund/no return" policy. If you have any problems with the use, accuracy, quality or any other aspect of our product, please contact us and we will make every effort to resolve the trouble.
